Ewa Grzechnik works as Investment Manager at 3M New Ventures, the venture capital arm of 3M, one of the world´s most innovative companies. The mission of New Ventures is to search for and invest in game changing platform technologies developed outside of 3M to further strengthen 3M’s position at the leading edge of global innovation. Since 2009 3M New Ventures has invested in more than 20 disruptive technologies and the exceptional entrepreneurial teams behind them.
At 3M New Ventures Ewa is mainly looking at start-ups in the energy, water, safety & security and healthcare sectors.
 
Prior to joining the New Ventures team, Ewa worked several years for a cleantech venture capital fund out of Stockholm, Sweden. She entered the venture capital world in 2008, after completing her Master’s degree in Environmental Science at Uppsala University in Sweden. She also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Social Sciences from the Jacobs University in Bremen, Germany.
