Claudia received her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a specialty in finances from the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM). During her bachelor’s, she studied at the University Commercial “Luigi Bocconi” in Milan, Italy, taking courses focused on strategy and entrepreneurship. At ITAM, Claudia wrote her business thesis: “Anomalies in the market: The weekend effect for the Mexican Market.”

Her professional experience began as a consultant at Deloitte in the area of transfer pricing. She then joined Angel Ventures Mexico (AVM) as project analyst, to later become the Director of projects. Within AVM she created the consultation arm of the organization, where support is given to entrepreneurs to develop investment strategies supporting them in successfully pitching their project to Angel investors. Additionally, Claudia developed diverse programs within AVM such as the standardization of the flow of projects, a large social service-internship program, and she is currently working on a new fellows program which will connect students from the world’s best MBA programs to AVM projects as mentors. Claudia also taught Development of Entrepreneurial Projects as an assistant at the college CENTRO. She has given talks and trainings throughout México and Colombia.
