Alex Marshall
Alex is an International Management & German student at one of the world’s leading Management Schools at University of Bath, England. During his four years at university Alex has seen success in numerous enterprise competitions, most notably winning the inaugural Apps Crunch Competition, co-developing Memory Palace; an app described as “revolutionary” by representatives from Deloitte.
Currently in his final year of study, Alex is the Co-Chair of BANTER University of Bath Student Entrepreneurs, and also holds an administrative position in the Enterprise Bath offices. Both positions see him investing considerably in supporting other young entrepreneurs, fostering a community of like-minded students.
Alex is also a Student Ambassador for two startups: Elephant Branded and Natter and this involvement has seen greater integration between University of Bath students and the local startup community in Bath and Bristol.
Whilst on a 12 month work placement in Munich, Germany, Alex took part in the European StartupBus Competition, seeing him start a company in just 72 hours whilst travelling by coach from Berlin to the Pioneers’ Festival in Vienna, Austria. As part of the global “Buspreneurs” community, Alex is leveraging his networks to ensure that University of Bath students represent on not just a local level, rather an international one.
