FORMAT

Selected semi-finalists for our Business Plan Competition will receive direct mentorship and participate in workshops with experienced mentors, and have a chance to win prizes to advance their startups.

  • Up to 16 semi-finalist teams
  • Up to 8 finalist teams present their current startup to a panel of experienced judges.
  • Receive 1-on-1 mentorship from entrepreneurs and ecosystem stakeholders from MIT and LATAM.
  • Semi-Finalists & Finalists get to participate in the Entrepreneurship Fair!


PRIZES

  • $3,000 USD
  • A trip to MIT (flights and hotel costs covered) for mentorship, stakeholder meetings, and networking with leaders in entrepreneurship at MIT
  • The winner and runner up will BOTH be directly accepted for the MassChallenge Competition Round 2. More information here: masschallenge.org/apply
  • 6 month local incubation program with:
    • Workshops on important topics for startups
    • And 30 hours of personalized guidance (finance, sales, marketing, etc.)
  • More great prizes to come - check back often!


ELIGIBILITY

  • Any early-stage startups currently seeking outside equity capital
  • Startups must have raised less than $250,000 USD from angel investors, venture capital, or other equity sources to be eligible

  • Opportunity to showcase your venture to investors, key opinion leaders, and hundred of conference attendees!
  • All Semi-Finalists get to participate
