co-founder and Executive Director of Young 1ove

Noam Angrist is the co-founder and Executive Director of Young 1ove, an NGO employing 50+ staff and reaching over 25,000 youth in Botswana with evidence-based HIV education classes. Within 3 years Young 1ove aims to implement evidence-based HIV education programming in Swaziland, Namibia, Lesotho, Zambia, and South Africa, reaching over 1 million adolescents every year. Noam is a Rainer Fellow with the Mulago Foundation, which supports Young 1ove among other Big Bang Philanthropy donors, MTV and the Presidents Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR). Noam previously worked for the Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab, and conducted research for the World Bank Education Sector as well as the White House Council of Economic Advisers. Noam holds a Bachelors of Science in Mathematics and Economics from MIT and is completing a Masters in Evidence-Based Social Intervention at Oxford University where he is a Rhodes Scholar.
