Manasi Vartak

Manasi is a graduate student in the Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Lab (CSAIL) at MIT. Her research interests lie in the analysis, storage and processing of large scale data. She has worked on real-time data analysis tools, dynamic ad targeting, recommendation systems for clothing and algorithms to correlate diet with medical symptoms. In the near future, she hopes to work on systems that can support smarter data-driven decision making in medicine.

She is currently co-president of the MIT EECS Graduate Women’s Group and served on the executive board of the MIT-wide Graduate Women association where she led the 2011 Empowerment Conference.
