Born in Guatemala city, with a passion for creating new things. Studied Agribusiness in Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. Worked in farming for 6 years before embarking on marriage and an MBA program at UFM. Three years and two kids later I launched my first company, Fogliasana, focused on the sustainable production of green leafy vegetables in closed greenhouse hydroponic systems. After 4 months in operation, I am expanding the company to produce an increased volume and to further the sustainability of our startup by installing solar panels for power, capturing rain for use in our systems and recycle in secondary crops our used fertilizer solution.
