Rohit is pursuing his graduate studies in the field of automatic program synthesis at CSAIL, MIT. His efforts are directed towards using innovation to make it easier for everyone to build computer software. Prior to MIT, Rohit was an undergraduate student at Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, India. He was also one of the founding members and CTO of Avanti Fellows, a non-profit organization working towards upliftment of bright underprivileged kids by providing them mentor-ship and resources for better college education. Avanti Fellows (http://www.avantifellows.org) won the Stanford BASES E-challenge in 2010 with a prize money of $50K and has successfully expanded to 6 major cities in India. As an undergraduate, Rohit participated in various coding, designing and hacking competitions like the International Collegiate Programming Contest and Yahoo HackU. He is very much interested in building innovative web and mobile based products.
