Ramsey Jay, Jr. is a Director at Post Advisory Group, a global alternative investment management firm that specializes in managing assets in leveraged finance markets. Mr. Jay’s expertise includes high yield investments, bank loans, distressed credit, multi-strategy credit, private debt, and private equity. He has created several lectures and presentations on alternative investment strategies that have been delivered to conferences, private companies, and academic institutions around the globe. Prior to Post Advisory Group, Mr. Jay was an executive at Ares Management, a $68 billion private alternative investment management firm.

Mr. Jay also is a widely recognized leading expert on leadership development and motivational speaking. Named by EBONY Magazine as one of the top “30 Young Leaders Under 30” and featured on nationally-syndicated television and radio programs, Mr. Jay empowers dreamers to become achievers. Through motivational seminars and programs he delivers unique strategies on how to succeed, implement proven leadership techniques, leverage valuable relationships, and harness the power of diversity and inclusion.

A native of Ventura County in Southern California, Mr. Jay is a member of the Ventura High School Hall of Fame and a graduate of the Riordan Programs and Management Leadership for Tomorrow program. He also has been appointed as a delegate for the Turkish Cultural Foundation’s Tour to Istanbul, accepted into the Socrates Society at the Aspen Institute, named a CORO Executive Fellow, and selected as an International Career Advancement Program Fellow.

Mr. Jay earned a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in finance from the Craig School of Business at California State University, Fresno, where he was a five-time all-conference track and field athlete. Mr. Jay also earned a Masters in Business Administration from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College, where he was voted speaker of the 105th graduating class.
