Peter K. Kang is a Ph.D. candidate in Civil & Environmental Engineering at MIT. He has expertise in low-cost water filtration and groundwater hydrology. He is also co-founder of AQUA-BRIDGE and Recoplastic. AQUA-BRIDGE tackles drinking water crisis in developing countries via the integration of BioSand Filtration (BSF), low-cost microbiological testing and a web-based Information Communication Technology (ICT) platform. Recoplastic will be the first “environment-friendly recycling plastic producer” providing scalable recycling services in Nigeria. He has passion to bring positive environmental and social impact to developing countries via scalable and environmentally sustainable ventures.
