Miss Lamiaa BOUNAHMIDI

Lamiaa BOUNAHMIDI is the founder and CEO of LOOLY’S (www.loolys.net) the first impact-driven food start-up in the MENA Region; after being a strategy consultant at Roland Berger Strategy Consultants in the Casablanca Office as well as a volunteer strategy consultant at the Grameen Creative Lab, founded by the Nobel Prize Professor Mohammad Yunus in Wiesbaden, Germany.  She is also an active element of the social business movement worldwide through Makesense Organization.  In 2011, Miss BOUNAHMIDI was elected among top 30 entrepreneurs  in MENA Region by the MIT Arab Forum as well as a finalist of Maroc Entrepreneurs contest in Paris.   After international experience in France, Singapore and Germany  in Finance, Strategy and Pharma Industry, she went back to Morocco in 2011 driven by the willingness to create impact for development and poverty reduction and foster social entrepreneurship as the “Other Arab Spring” the region has to experience. Miss BOUNAHMIDI won the Start Up Cup Morocco 2013 and was selected among top entrepreneurs taking part in PITME Labs (Peace in the Middle East) in Silicon Valley.
Bounahmidi holds an Engineer Diploma in Stastic and Advanced Econometry from INSEA as well as an MBA from ESSEC Business School in Paris. She is working on several academic papers to build a systemic approach of social entrepreneurship specific to MENA Region countries.
