Christian Brützel is co-founder and CEO of Qnips, a system that integrates with POS systems and prints QR-codes on receipts. By scanning these with their smartphones, users can rate and review their products bought and services used as well as automatically redeem coupons and collect loyalty points. All functions are organized conveniently in the Qnips app, making Qnips attractive for customers. For suppliers, Qnips merges both customer loyalty and monitoring functions, providing a comprehensive customer relations toolbox. Consequently, Qnips, originating in Hannover, Germany, is growing fast. It has been awarded a 750.000 Euro grant from the investment fund Invest-Impuls and several other prizes and grants, among others from start2grow, Handelsblatt and EXIST. Christian studied Business Administration in Hanover and Madrid and realized various projects in the fields of process optimization and marketing. After receiving his degree he founded Qnips with another former consultant of said junior enterprise in 2011.
